Simon’s (he/him) primary interest is in the Human Factors and Error/Safety Management domains, delivering innovative and appropriate solutions to clients addressing challenges in risk, efficiency, competence, behaviour, culture and compliance. A highly experienced consultant, he applies 25 years of practical, front-line experience and a strong understanding of industrial psychology and human/organisational performance to translate business change needs into results driven programmes. Simon has worked for clients identifying and managing risk in a range of safety critical industries. Providing an answer to the ’so what’ question from clients as to the R.O.I for their investment into the human factors discipline, Simon uses a socio-technical systems approach introducing concepts from the psychological, safety culture and just culture literature merged with data analytics to provide that answer.
