Miranda Nelson is a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, EMDR Therapist, IPT Therapist, and BACP Accredited Counsellor. She offers a warm, client-centred approach to therapy, specializing in the treatment of trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, and more. Miranda has worked across various settings, including NHS Talking Therapies, Community Mental Health Teams, Domestic Violence Services, the Public Sector, Private Practice, Corporate Mental Health, and the Physical Rehab and Litigation Sector.
Miranda has a particular expertise in supporting women experiencing perimenopause and menopause, helping them manage their symptoms with a range of evidence-based therapies. She also provides care for individuals with co-existing physical health problems that impact emotional well-being and has experience working with clients with ADHD. As an experienced clinical supervisor, Miranda offers a collaborative and supportive space that facilitates change, alongside her work in wellbeing coaching and mentoring. She is also interested in holistic wellbeing, including supporting those transitioning to a plant-based or vegan diet.
