Record Keeping

Healthy You Ltd Keeps confidential records about clients who use our services. All records are kept securely and are only seen by the relevant team members of Healthy You Ltd.These records are subject to GDPR (2018). Some of the information we may collect is classified as ‘personal data’, and we can only use such data where we have your explicit consent. Your personal and sensitive data will only be used in order to provide the service to you and for managing and quality assuring the service. Records are kept for a period of 7 years and are then destroyed.

Healthy You Ltd recognises that clients who use our service may wish to exercise their rights under GDPR to ask about, review, obtain and erase the information held about them. The details of these rights are outlined in the ‘terms and conditions’ which will be shared when we commence working together.

Healthy You Ltd is an independent and confidential psychology service. We hold information about clients we work with and the work we do together in confidence. This means that we will not normally share your name or any information about you with anyone outside of Healthy You Ltd. However, there are exceptional cases where Healthy You Ltd might ethically or legally have to give information to relevant authorities, for example, if we had reason to believe that someone is at serious risk or harm or to prevent a miscarriage of justice.

We will discuss any proposed disclosure with you unless we believe that to do so could increase the level of risk to you or to someone else.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
