Our Psychologists have a diverse range of experiences and skills, enabling them to create and implement niche evidence-based behaviour change interventions.  The aim is to help individuals/couple/families adjust to the psychological and emotional aspects of health and illness, as well as supporting them to accept living with difficult health conditions.  Healthy You Ltd has experience of helping people with a wide variety of health-related conditions.  Some of this work can complement any interventions that are more neuropsychological in focus.

Our team can provide standalone psychological assessments, neurobehavioural assessments, and capacity assessments.

Our psychological interventions aim to support those having experienced many problems including the following:

  • Life-changing injuries
  • Traumatic birth/loss
  • Psychological adjustment
  • Chronic Pain
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Issues relating to weight-management
  • Long term conditions
  • Difficulties adhering to medication

All staff working at Healthy You Ltd have undergone extensive training in either Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy, or Mindfulness.

Staff at Healthy You Ltd are skilled researchers, with a range of expertise in project design, conducting, analysing and reporting data outcomes, using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.  Our team have expertise in evaluating and improving health services, both within the NHS, Public Health services and voluntary sectors.  A culmination of these experiences, skills and expertise enables our staff to address behavioural, psychological, and organisational factors contributing to services being ineffective.  As this service is bespoke to each commissioned project, this work is diverse and can range from a one-off service evaluation project, with a plan on how to implement recommendations into the service, to staff training, and ongoing supervision.
The team have a long history in providing behaviour change training to a range of healthcare professionals, care teams, staff within Public Health and Undergraduate/Postgraduate students in a number of Universities.  Our Psychologists have provided training in the following areas:

  • Changing Behaviour: Behaviour Change Techniques
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Experiential Workshop
  • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • ‘Relating to the Person’: developing therapeutic rapport with clients

  • Devising Psychological Formulation
  • Holistic Neuro-rehabilitation Programmes
  • Setting Goals with Clients
